The horse-drawn sleigh ride begins

Your romantic excursion begins directly in front of the Neuepost Apartments in Filzmoos, where you will be picked up by a traditional horse-drawn sleigh. The horses, covered in glistening snow, steam in the cold air and their gentle snorting underlines the silence, which is only interrupted by the soft crunching of hooves in the snow.

The picturesque landscape

As soon as you have sat down in the sledge, your ride through the snow-covered landscape of Filzmoos begins. You glide through fairytale winter forests, past crystal clear streams and snow-covered woods, while the gentle tinkling of the horses' bells sets the pace. The sight of the snow-covered peaks silhouetted against the blue sky is simply breathtaking.

Arrival at the Hofalmen

After a relaxing drive, you finally reach the Hofalmen. Nestled in the wintry landscape, the picturesque alpine huts offer a sight that seems to come from another time. Here you can get off the sledge and let the natural beauty of the alp take effect on you. A crackling fire and a hearty snack await you in one of the cosy huts - the perfect place to warm up.

The return journey

After you have fortified yourself, the horse-drawn sleigh will take you back to Filzmoos. The return journey offers another opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the wintry landscape and immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere.

The Hofalmen in Filzmoos are known for their beautiful location in the heart of the Salzburg Alps and their excellent cuisine, which offers traditional Austrian dishes and regional specialities. The cosy atmosphere makes the Almen a popular meeting place for locals and tourists.
