Arrival by car
As Filzmoos is centrally located in Austria, it is easy to reach by car from the surrounding countries. If you are travelling from Germany, take the A8 motorway to Salzburg and then the A10 towards Graz/Villach until you reach the Eben im Pongau exit. Then follow the signs to Filzmoos.
Coming from Switzerland, follow the A1 motorway to Salzburg and then take the A10 to the Eben im Pongau exit. Coming from Italy, follow the A2 motorway to Villach and then take the A10 to the Eben im Pongau exit.
Arrival by train and bus
Filzmoos is well connected to the Austrian rail and bus network. The nearest train station is Eben im Pongau. From there you can take the local bus or a taxi to Filzmoos, the journey takes about 20 minutes. If you are travelling from Germany, Switzerland or Italy, you can use the train connections to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof and from there take a connecting train to Eben im Pongau. The bus from Eben stops directly in front of the Neue Post Apartments!
Arrival by plane and taxi or rental car
The nearest airport is Salzburg, which is about 75 kilometres north of Filzmoos. From there you can take a rental car or a taxi directly to Filzmoos. There are also regular bus connections from the airport to Eben im Pongau, from where you can continue to Filzmoos by taxi or local bus.
